GAME OVERFLOW
Con una conferenza all’interno del MACRO – Museo d’Arte contemporanea di Roma – sarà presentato il workshop La Ville Ouverte tenutosi a Viterbo nel settembre 2011 in seno al progetto d’arte pubblica Cantieri d’Arte. Qui, le discussioni tra artisti, curatori e storici dell’arte, hanno avuto luogo all’interno di in un “soggiorno” realizzato direttamente nello spazio pubblico temporaneamente occupato per la performance “Permesso di soggiorno (Visa card)“ dell’artista Alessandro Nassiri Tabibzadeh.
Il risultato finale del workshop viterbese avrà come restituzione la realizzazione di sei azioni che si terranno all’interno del MACRO: azioni distinte e separate capaci di dialogare con lo spazio del museo allargandone concettualmente i confini predefiniti dai limiti istituzionali.
Game-overflow, titolo del progetto, intende perciò creare una situazione di frizione tra il museo e le azioni degli artisti che avranno bisogno del pubblico partecipante per compiersi definitivamente.

PROGETTO SPECIALE | LA FORMA - Tessaloniki
All’interno del Museo verrà presentato anche il progetto speciale “Tessaloniki” nato in collaborazione con La Forma.
Thessaloniki è il titolo di un numero speciale de La Forma ma anche il nome della città in cui ha avuto luogo il workshop organizzato da ARCI e Cantieri d’Arte nell’ambito della XV Biennale de la Méditerranée, promossa dalla Associazione internazionale BJCEM (Biennale des jeunes créateurs de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée) ad Ottobre 2011.
Lo scopo è stato quello di creare una sorta di diario di viaggio che sottende ad un’estetica DIY composto da testi, foto e storie: un modo per riflettere e ricostruire emozionalmente lo spazio pubblico.

Inside the M.A.C.RO – Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome – it will be presented the public art workshop titled La Ville Ouverte, promoted by Arci and Cantieri d’Arte, that took place in Viterbo on September 2011. Here the discussion sessions between artists and curators were held in a “living room” made directly into a public space temporarily occupied for the performance “Residence permit (Visa card)“ by Alessandro Nassiri Tabibzadeh.
The final result of the workshop was a work made by the artists participating titled: Game Overflow.
The project aims to create six different actions within a broader framework and able to dialogue with the museum space conceptually enlarging the boundaries defined by institutional constraints.
Game-overflow intends to create a situation of friction between the museum and the artist’s actions who will need the audience participation to reach the final statement.

SPECIAL PROJECT | LA FORMA - Thessaloniki
La Forma is a “do-it-yourself” low-cost and low-fi publishing project by. A magazine capable of collecting narrative suggestions to tell a story as if it were a serialized novel. An experimental novel written by multiple hands which involves artists, writers, cartoonists and critics accommodating at the same time diverse types of languages.
Thessaloniki is the title of the special issue of La Forma and also the city where it took place the workshop organized by ARCI and Cantieri d’Arte in the XV Biennale de la Méditerranée, promoted by the International Association BJCEM (Biennale des createurs jeunes de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée) in October 2011. in collaboration with BJCEM (International Association Biennial Young Artists Europe Mediterranean) on October the 7th 2011.
The aim is to create a sort of travel self made diary in a DIY esthetic composed of texts, photos and stories made by the artists partecipants: a way to reflect and emotionally rebuild the urban space.
