“Past Continuous” – il tempo verbale inglese che viene usato per descrivere le azioni o gli eventi iniziati nel passato che continuano e hanno conseguenze nel presente – è il titolo della prima mostra personale italiana di Alberto Torres Hernández, un artista spagnolo che da dieci anni vive e lavora Londra.
Il progetto espositivo, curato da Sabino de Nichilo e Francesco Paolo Del Re, è costruito su misura per gli spazi domestici di Casa Vuota a Roma (via Maia 12 int. 4A) a partire da dipinti, ricami e disegni che lavorano sulle trasparenze realizzati dall’artista nell’ultimo anno.
La mostra inaugura giovedì 7 giugno alle ore 19 ed è visitabile su appuntamento fino al 23 settembre 2018.
In occasione del finissage, verrà presentato il catalogo della mostra.

Past Continuous, describes actions or event from times gone by, which began in the past and continues to the present. In other words, it expresses an unfinished or incomplete action in the past.This is the first solo show in Italy of the Spanish artist based in London, Alberto Torres Hernandez.
The exhibition, which is curated by Sabino De Nichilo e Francesco Paolo Del Re, is site specific for Casa Vuota (via Maia 12, interno 4A) and showcases a series of paintings, drawings and embroideries realised from 2016 until present.
The exhibition opens on Thursday 7th of June at 19:00 and runs until 23rd of September 2018 (by appointment only – free admission).
