Someone to Love is my autobiography in self-portraits, family pictures and other photographs, mounted together on a video, and united by my voice which narrates the story of my life: my father's family as high rank officials of the Spanish Navy, my childhood, my adolescence as a heroin addict and a prostitute, the tough experience at the rehab centre, psychotherapy, my emigration to Italy, the discovery of the self-portrait as a powerful tool for self-therapy, my many companions, my daughters, the many separations and my mission: to teach my method to others, so that people can learn to convert their own pain into works of art. And finally the work I did with my mother until her very last breath.
